This past Friday, December 6th, 2013 Chimera Art and Culture Magazine checked out the work of the Amazing Hancock Bros. Which consisted of a lot of distinctive styles of Screen printing and hand drawn pieces, that of which I took as a skillful mockery of Satanic and demonic surrealism. It was clever for the Hancock Brothers to utilize their style of screen printing and other areas of printmaking in a mash up ordeal, an individualistic style I’ve never seen before. Their pieces Gave me the impression of a world inside a “twilight zoned” vortex. You can say it gives off a dark appeal. I found their work pretty idiosyncratic. Below are a few images of their work viewed at the East End Gallery Studio, let us know what you think!
